MT30 A (LAB)Activity 8: REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM 🔬
❕Reproductive system is responsible for producing, transporting, and nurturing sperm and egg cells facilitating the development of offspring. It also produces hormones that regulate reproductive processes.
❕Prostate plays a crucial role in the production of seminal fluid that helps protect and nourish sperm for fertilization.
❕Placenta provides a physical connection between the fetus and the mother’s uterus, allowing for the exchange of nutrients and waste products.
❕Epididymis serves as a reservoir for mature sperm, storing them until ejaculation.
❕Vas deferens transports the spermatozoa from the epididymis to the ejaculatory ducts, aiding in the propulsion of sperm during ejaculation.
