Activity 4: The Integumentary System 🔬👋🏼
The integumentary system comprises body membranes, skin, hair, fingernails, and glands. These structures are important for the body’s biological systems as they serve as the first barrier to keep good things such as water in, and bad things such as harmful bacteria out.
Below are some of the illustrations of the integumentary system components I was able to view under the microscope. These are: the human scalp, human brown skin, cat skin, and frog skin.
