    📍Activity 8: The Reproductive System 🔬

    🫧Human Testes
The testicles, or testes, are important for the production and storage of sperm until they’re mature enough for ejaculation. They also produce testosterone, which is responsible for sex drive, fertility, and the development of muscle and bone mass.

    🫧Human Umbilical Cord
The umbilical cord is considered both the physical and emotional attachment between mother and fetus. This structure allows for the transfer of oxygen and nutrients from the maternal circulation into fetal circulation while simultaneously removing waste products from fetal circulation to be eliminated maternally. On the other hand, mothers associate an emotional connection to the fetus through the cord. It may merit consideration as the route of love and care during pregnancy. Thus, some poets call it the string of life.

    🫧Vas Deferens
The vas deferens, with the more modern name ductus deferens, is part of the male reproductive system of many vertebrates. The ducts transport sperm from the epididymides to the ejaculatory ducts in anticipation of ejaculation. The vas deferens is a partially coiled tube which exits the abdominal cavity through the inguinal canal.

    🫧Oviduct (Fallopian Tube)
The fallopian tubes, also known as uterine tubes, oviducts or salpinges, are paired tubes in the human female body that stretch from the ovaries to the uterus. The fallopian tubes are part of the female reproductive system.
The primary function of the fallopian tubes is to transport eggs from the ovary to the uterus.
