The reproductive system consists of organs involved in sexual reproduction. It includes internal and external organs that function together for procreation. There are two main parts: the female reproductive system, which includes external organs like the vulva and internal organs such as the vagina and ovaries that produce hormones and eggs; and the male reproductive system, which includes the penis, sperm channels, and testes that produce sperm and hormones necessary for reproductive function and development of secondary sexual characteristics.
