    Urinary System

The urinary system is composed of kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra, which filter the blood and remove waste. The kidney is a bean-shaped structure containing nephrons that separate waste products and water from essential nutrients in the blood. The excess fluid, which serves as urine, is flown down to the ureters to the bladder, which stores urine until it is released to the external environment.

The urine exits the body through the urethra, leading from the bladder. In addition, the urinary system not only removes waste but also aids in regulating blood pressure, electrolyte balance, and production of red blood cells, ensuring a sterile environment for optimal health.
