While thinking about the cell and its function in general, I thought of an Orchestra. Where each of the many organelles of the cell plays an important role in the performance, and their contribution to the harmonious symphony of our lives. The nucleus will serve as the conductor, skillfully directing the ensemble by leading the halt, and the initiation of the production of proteins. The Ribosomes will be considered the musicians, the ones responsible for interpreting the sheet music containing the genetic information encoded in DNA, turning these notes into divine melodies-which are the proteins responsible foe essential tasks within the cell. On the other hand, the Golgi apparatus and the Endoplasmic Reticulum refine these proteins, in order to make sure that they reach their intended destination. This is a simple illustration and interpretation of my view of the function, and the inner relative activity of the cell.
