MT 30-BB (Histology Art 2024-2025) 11 months ago AN ART BEHIND THE SCIENCE OF THE CELL“CELL Phone”
In my cell art entitled “CELL Phone,” I creatively reimagined how cell organelles could correspond to the components of a smartphone. While I did not give much focus on the placement of the cell parts for accuracy, I aimed to roughly illustrate how each organelle would function as a counterpart in the smartphone’s system.
One of the most noticeable parts of my drawing is the nucleus which stands as like the smartphone’s operating system that manages all processes. Additionally, the mitochondria are illustrated as a pair similar to what a battery looks like taking charge for the energy generation in the cell – and how a phone relies on it for power processing.
I also added an element of modern technology like wirings and chips in the drawing. This is to emphasize the integration of biological and technological systems, showcasing their similarities in function and complexity.
