My favorite part of the cell is the plasma membrane. It is a thin, flexible barrier that surrounds all living cells, separating the cell’s interior from its external environment. It’s selectively permeable, meaning it controls the movement of substances in and out of the cell, acting as a gatekeeper for what enters and exits. For such why it is my favorite for the fact that it is one of the major part of the cells that keeps it together, giving structure and protection of the cells. It also is the one responsible for multiple functions that are closely inter-connected to the other parts of the cell. On a personal opinion, i find them lovely and endearing to look at under the microscope, it is interesting as they all come in different size and shapes and i think that itself is amazing. Nevertheless, the plasma membrane is an important part of the cell, they small but contributes a lot to giving life, and that alone is what makes them my favorite.
