MT30 – BB (LEC) 5 months, 3 weeks ago I reimagined the famous “The Scream” painting as a creative way to show how nervous tissue works. In my version, the swirling, wavy lines of the background represent the flow of electrical signals, while the scattered spots in the sky act as Glia, the essential support cells. I chose this specific masterpiece because the “scream” perfectly captures how our neurons “shout” urgent messages to the brain to help us react to the world. By making the main figure a Neuron with a clear Nucleus, I wanted to show that our nerves are the expressive messengers behind everything we feel.
