This artwork represents my Intramurals experience as a cheerer in Cheer Committee, focusing on the tissue that worked hardest during shouting — the vocal folds (skeletal muscle tissue). This histology art shows realistic skeletal muscle features such as striations, multinucleated cells, and peripherally located nuclei, which allow forceful voice production during cheering.

The muscle fibers are creatively arranged as sound waves and a megaphone to represent loud cheering.
