During our Cheerpop dance performance, skeletal muscle tissue was the primary tissue working throughout the entire routine. Instead of focusing on one specific muscle, this artwork represents skeletal muscle as a whole because many different muscles contract together to produce coordinated body movements during the dance.

The drawing shows the microscopic features of skeletal muscle, including elongated muscle fibers, visible striations, and peripheral nuclei, which are the defining characteristics of this tissue. These structures allow skeletal muscle to generate strong and controlled voluntary contractions needed for movements such as jumping, turning, and maintaining posture during the performance.
