Agents of Social Change 5 years, 3 months ago Girls, have you been told once in your life that you need to learn how to cook and do the laundry, so you can be a good housewife to your husband in the future? or Have you been told not to choose a career path that involves extreme physical strength (i.e. police officer) because women are just not cut out for the job.We heard you girls! The Agents of Social Change believes that both men and women should have equal opportunities. A woman can lift boulders or drive trucks too, and a man can work in salons and bake cakes too.
The movie Little Women, which was released last December 7, 2019 and was based on the famous writer Louisa May Alcott’s autobiography, recently made headlines to new papers and online new sites as the four sisters of the movie encountered vicissitudes in equality, employment, society, and marriage.
Here is one striking line from Jo March (Saoirse Ronan) in the movie:
“Women have minds and souls as well as just hearts, and they’ve got ambition and talent as well as just beauty. And I’m sick of people saying love is all a woman is fit for”.
