Our topic of concern for today is REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7719, otherwise known as the National Blood Services Act of 1994. It is a law governing voluntary blood donation and blood banking services in the Philippines. The said act was passed on April 28, 1994 by the Senate and the House of Representatives and was approved on May 5, 1994 by then President Fidel V. Ramos.
