Emmaean Society 6 years ago There is this one road where we encounter the One who saves and rescues us— our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ— The Road to Emmaus.
In Luke 24:13-35, two men are heading to Emmaus after Jesus’ crucifixion when a THIRD MAN “drew near to them”. On the way, the THIRD MAN explains to them “things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures.” When they reached Emmaus, the two urged the THIRD MAN to stay with them. It was only when the THIRD MAN broke bread with them that they realized that HE who has been with them the whole time was no other than JESUS CHRIST. With hearts burning, they returned to Jerusalem to proclaim that the LORD has risen!Have you had this encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ? We are excited to have a journey with you. Come and join us! As we travel together in this life knowing JESUS in God’s Word.
