DEVOTIONAL:
What kind of love do we have for darkness? John wrote that men loved darkness unconditionally (agape), rather than light. It’s not that we cannot see light, but we chose to put out that light which exposes the wickedness of our hearts and our need for a Savior. How long have we been running? It is time we surrender our sins to God and ask for His forgiveness. He is faithful to forgive those who repent and put their faith in Christ Jesus.

In contrast to the Holiness of God, man is utterly depraved. For the month of November we will be sharing Bible verses on the sinfulness of man. This is not to discourage us all but to point out that man must not put hope in himself for salvation. Man has only One hope and that is Jesus Christ who is Lord of all and Savior to those who believe.
