The online learning has made me view education in a whole new perspective. Before, when face to face classes was still operating, I have never defined learning as an agony, as it was easy for me to comprehend the lessons I take because I can instantly ask my teachers and classmates for help. Today, it feels like I am drowning in a vast ocean seeking for air because of the endless school works and exams that needed to get done. Although virtual learning has its advantages like providing comfort and flextime, its disadvantages still outweigh the benefits.

Online education made it harder for me to focus because of the intermittent connection we have and the external noise of the environment. Currently, attendance is now more important than the lessons they give. Some of the instructors do not even hold lectures anymore; instead, we, students, are being redirected to youtube. Also, the task given to us by our teacher is as twice as many and time-consuming than it was during the face to face classes. Furthermore, when taking an exam, we are given a significant number of items in a short amount of time. This issue frustrates me the most because it provides incapability for me to recheck my answers. It’s like all of the things that I have learned were thrown away at once, and I feel like it is merely unfair. If were a given a chance to choose what mode of learning I want, I would choose the physical classroom over online classes any day. But with the pandemic that we are facing right now, I think the only solution for me is to bear with the situation I am in.
