It was really unfortunate that last year’s Hibalag did not go as planned due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I have missed that month-long festivity so much that I chose this video that features 2019’s Hibalag Festival for our assignment. There’s always something about Hibalag that unites not just the students in the campus but also people from other schools as well as citizens all over the world! From the booth-making to the festivities, and lastly to the culmination, Hibalag never ceases to amaze me in it’s jam-packed activities. For me, Hibalag Festival is the absolute best reason to enjoy being a Sillimanian as it is so fun an it is right after midterms week.
