Among the 17 sustainable development goals, goal number 8 have piqued my interest. We are known to be a developing country and according to goal 8, “it promotes sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all” which I believe that our country is lacking. Some countries may have been doing great progress, but our country is falling behind. In today’s situation, unfortunately, our economy is falling but this cannot be blamed by the pandemic but because it has fallen already in the first place. I do believe that with an economy that provides equal opportunity to all, can be a solution to slowly lift the increasing unemployment rate and provide relief to families that fallen into poverty.
