An information system is a set of digital and technological components used to gather, store, and interpret data and information from certain people (University of Alabama at Birmingham, 2021). These data are then analyzed and used by the information system to recommend and provide effective and efficient solutions in dealing certain problems of the people (University of Alabama at Birmingham, 2021; Zwass, 2022). An information system can be used for different fields such as business, management, and health (Zwass, 2022). Health information systems are common in hospitals and are used to provide medical practitioners data and information as to the current status of their patients and what interventions can be done to help them through the help of technology and such systems (Luz et. Al., 2021).
