Dr. Reuben J C. Los Baños is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Laboratory Science. He founded Getaprofessor, a social learning application software, to enable scientists, educators, and learners to collaborate and disseminate knowledge. He has taught medical subjects for over ten years in reputable universities such as Silliman University, Cebu Doctors’ University, and Negros Oriental State University. He has a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from Silliman University, a master’s degree in Teaching Medical Subjects from Cebu Doctors’ University, and a Ph.D. in Research and Evaluation from Silliman University. He completed a certificate course in software development for business enterprises and founded a technology company that developed a new learning and communication application software for scientists, educators, and students. He is an expert in Search Engine Optimization, and he uses these skills to help clients improve their websites and apps. He is also a registered author by the National Book Development Board for his articles on Getaprofessor. He is from Dumaguete City, Philippines, and works with various organizations providing training and expertise through the software he creates.
