Filipino adolescents ranked almost at the bottom 146 countries when it comes to the level of physical activity, according to a study (Philstar, 2019). These indicates that we lack activities that will improve every filipino’s physical health. Sometimes we also choose to be unhealthy and does not engage ourselves in physical activity. By being physically active, it will help us prevent or delay certain diseases, including some cancers, heart disease and diabetes, and can also help to relieve depression and improve mood. It will also lessen cases of obesity in the philippines.
Vision
To lessen cases of obesity and diseases associated with it by being conscious of one’s health and staying physically active.
Mission
-A non-profit organisation that aims to educate every Filipinos about the benefits of being physically active. This will be possible through the help of Department of Education and Commission of Higher Education to make this mandatory to schools starting from Early Childhood up until college.
-We will be working with the local city health office to educate filipino parents as well to expose children to physical activities as early as possible.
-Our organisation aims to encourage Local Government Units to organise a sports fest to give opportunities for the youth to play and also activities for adults such as Zumba.
