In my opinion, the term “Information System” refers to the system and/or process used by us, end-users, to obtain, store, and process data, as well as how we disseminate such data to other trusted establishments and networks. In today’s modern world, we might see these systems in large corporations or hospitals where there is a clear need to transfer data from one management system to another.

Seen in many different industries, whether it be the business sectors or even in the healthcare fields, the systems involved in aiding our collection, dissemination, storing, and retrieval of data are classified as Information systems.
