The Reproductive Health Awareness Campaign aims to spread awareness about sex education towards high school students in the Philippines. This is to inform the youth about practicing good personal hygiene, interpersonal relationships, sexually transmitted diseases, teen pregnancy, and the concept of birth control. The campaign’s purpose is not to promote promiscuity but rather for students to receive guidance on sex related matters from a well-informed adult. We believe this campaign can help teenagers handle their sexuality in addition to making responsible decisions concerning their bodies as they grow up.
The RHA Campaign hopes to educate both public and private high schools all over the country. Teen pregnancy along with the spread of sexually transmitted diseases in the Philippines are problems the organization hopes to conquer through the advocacy of contraception. The RHA campaign wishes to abolish the idea of keeping sexual related matters strictly as a family affair or as an ‘immoral’ subject and encourage it to be actually taught in a classroom by professional adults.
