    • Covid – 19 has caused us significant loss in several facets of our lives. What concerns me the most is the impact on our physical health. We know that if we become Covid – 19 infected, our lungs may become inflamed, making breathing for us difficult. Furthermore, we may have heart difficulties as a result of this, complicating our recovery. Although the virus can cause direct or indirect damage to your heart. Symptoms common in coronavirus patients are palpitations, chest pain, shortness of breath, and dizziness. When these become severe making your heart to not function well, you might need MCS.
        • I’ve learned how important mechanical circulatory support (MCS) devices are for assisting the heart when it’s not functioning right. Patients with cardiopulmonary failure who are infected with coronavirus are more prone to develop critical situations and have unacceptably high fatality rates, despite vigorous treatment. Hence, I can say that we can use and apply MCS on patients affected with coronavirus that suffer from heart related disease such as myocardial ischemia, myocarditis, cardiogenic shock, or even highblood patients for it has the potential to save lives. However, according to the article, it also brings with it high rates of complications and fatality. Hence, careful patient selection is necessary, as more research is needed to better understand which subset of covid-19 patients might benefit from MCS.
            • MCS patients have access to cutting-edge technology, including ventricular assist devices (VADs) and total artificial hearts. Second, third, and soon fourth-generation MCS devices are substantially smaller, more effective, safer, and easier to implant. This is the beauty of our technology, as well as the result of histology knowledge and application.
