Medical Histology β MT 30 Lab C (2022) 4 years, 2 months ago The circulatory system function is to move or deliver blood throughout the body. This circulation allows the organs, muscles and tissues of the body healthy and working to keep and individual alive. The parts of the circulatory system includes:
β’ the ππππ§π© which is muscular organ that pumps blood throughout the body;
β’ the ππ‘π€π€π π«ππ¨π¨ππ‘π¨ which includes arteries, veins and capillaries; and
β’ the ππ‘π€π€π which is made up of red and white blood cells, plasma and platelets.Featured below is my histology art of the microscopic circulatory system body tissues specifically the vein, arteries and vena cava. ππππ£π¨ are blood vessels that return oxygen depleted blood to the heart. Veins start as small and gets larger while approaching to the heart. Two central veins in the body is superior and inferior π«ππ£π πππ«π which is also shown in the image below. Specifically, the inferior vena cava brings blood up from the lower body, while the superior vena cava carried blood from the upper body. πΌπ§π©ππ§πππ¨, on the other hand, is also a blood vessel that carry oxygenated blood from the heart to every part of the body.
