Small Intestine: The specialized tube structure that lies between the stomach and the large intestine, also known as the colon or large bowel, is known as the small intestine (or small bowel). It is here that food nutrients are absorbed.2.) Caecum: The large intestine is thought to originate at the cecum, also known as the caecum, a pouch located within the peritoneum. It is usually found on the right side of the body, which is also the side where the appendix is connected.
.) Human Liver: A large, highly vascular glandular structure found in vertebrates that secretes bile and modifies a number of blood components, including the formation of urea and the conversion of sugars into glycogen, which the body stores until needed.
.) Jejunum: segments of the small intestine in the center. It lies between the ileum, which is the last segment of the small intestine, and the duodenum, which is the first portion of the intestine. Help further digest food coming from the stomach.
.) Tooth: one of the hard bone structures found on vertebrates’ mouths that are used as weapons and for grasping and eating food
.) Ileum: the small intestine’s last segment. It joins the cecum, which is the first segment of the large intestine. Food that has passed through the stomach and other sections of the small intestine is further broken down by the ileum.
.) Stomach: a soft area in the front of the body that is just below the chest, or the organ in the body that processes food: He took a punch to the stomach.
.) Stomach-Duodenum: Food that has left the stomach is further broken down by the duodenum. In order for the body to use the nutrients—vitamins, minerals, carbs, lipids, and proteins—it absorbs water from meals.
.) Tongue: a fleshy, flexible, muscular substance found on the floor of the mouths in most animals. It contains small glands and sensory end organs and is primarily used by humans as a speech organ and for taking in and swallowing food.
.) Large Intestine: The part of the digestive system that is primarily in charge of absorbing water from the indigestible food residue is the large intestine. Material is passed into the large intestine at the cecum by the ileocecal valve of the ileum (small intestine).
