1. Collagen
Location: Collagen fibers are found in all types of cartilage. It is also found within the perichondrium -outer layer is collagen rich.
Function: Support body tissues, plus collagen is a major component of the extracellular matrix that supports cells.

2.Elastic fiber
Location: Elastic fibers are found in the skin, lungs, arteries, veins, connective tissue, elastic cartilage, periodontal ligament, fetal tissues, and tissues that undergo mechanical stretching.
Function: Maintain the shape of the structure while allowing flexibility.
It provides elastic recoil to blood vessels.

3.Reticular fiber
Location: Lymphoid organs (lymp nodes, bone marrow, and spleen)
Function: Responsible for the synthesis of reticular, collagen, and elastic fibers, and carbohydrates.
