𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐈𝐎𝐕𝐀𝐒𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐑 𝐒𝐘𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐌
The transportation of oxygen throughout our bodies is handled by the cardiovascular system. The heart, an anatomical pump the size of a fist that weighs less than a pound, and the blood vessels that carry oxygen and carbon dioxide-carrying blood toward and away from the heart make up this system.

The circulation of blood:
The superior and inferior vena cava send blood into the right atrium, where it enters the right ventricle and is pumped to the left and right pulmonary arteries in the lungs. The blood returns to the heart via the pulmonary veins, passes through the left atrium and ventricle, and then exits the body through the aorta to reach the tissues.

Why this System?
I chose to concentrate on the cardiovascular system because I am familiar with it and have a genuine interest in its complexities. Having studied its complexities, I find the dynamics of the heart, blood vessels, and circulation fascinating. This familiarity not only makes the learning process more enjoyable, but it also allows me to appreciate the importance of the cardiovascular system in maintaining overall health and vitality.
