What I learned from MT 14 Lec:
Studying about health information systems has allowed me to learn more about health informatics and analytics, healthcare policy and regulations, and laboratory management. I learned that health information systems are about collecting, analyzing, and interpreting healthcare data, while also applying data analytics techniques, statistical methods, and data visualization tools used in health informatics. I believe that this can allow us to identify trends, patterns, and outcomes in results, leading to improved patient care, operational efficiency, and smarter decision-making. Laboratory management is also important because it maintains quality, accuracy, and safety in laboratory operations. It also helps laboratory workers to work efficiently and prevents additional costs from mistakes. Effective management practices can benefit and support patient care and promote the overall success of the laboratory.
