The Philippine healthcare system is mostly controlled by our government. In the video, Arabelle Tiu emphasizes the importance of voting wisely in order to ensure the best healthcare delivery to the public. I agree with Ms. Tiu because the only way the healthcare system can improve is if the higher ups prioritize the healthcare sector. Ms Tiu also explained that education is important when it comes to healthcare. She stated that she only learned about the Philippine system when she was already studying Nursing. I also agree with her statement regarding education. Not everyone in the Philippines pursues a medical course for higher education and some do not pursue higher education at all. Schools must be teaching this to middle school and high school students so that they are aware.
