Description: What better way to creatively depict an animal cell if not one of my favorite comfort food? My artwork of an animal cell draws inspiration from the many textures seen on a dish of fried rice like the intricate makeup of organelles observed in the microscopic world. Within this artistic endeavor, I have attempted to fuse a sprouting creativity with my knowledge toward cellular biology with hopes of putting in efforts of catering fried rice as an artistic medium. I am utterly pleased how this turned out, as I was able to put in and blend all the organelles found in an animal cell to that of a fried rice, producing a visual depiction that captures the allure of a well cooked meal of fried rice that serves the appetite of an individual, as well as how the organelles found inside an animal cell cater to the needs of how our body functions in daily existence.
