A crucial component of our nervous system is nerve tissue that controls and oversees a wide range of our bodily systems. Nerve tissues are considered made up of neurons and glial cells that come together to supply not just nutrients, but also to support and transmit nerve impulses (BYJU’s, n.d.). In this case, nerve tissue primarily provides a quick transfer of stimuli between various body areas, and is found for example in our brain, spinal cord, and nerves.
