Native App vs. Progressive Web App (PWA)A native app can be downloaded from the authorized application store of software such as Play Store for Android and App Store for iOS and can maximize its access to the gadget’s features. Moreover, it allows users to enjoy offline mode and receive push notifications. In terms of security, Native Apps can be embedded with additional security features.
On the other hand, a Progressive Web App (PWA) does not need to be installed, hence has limited access to the device’s features. PWAs have limited offline functions and push notifications are not possible for iOS devices. For security, it has HTTPS encryption.
