    Nervous Tissue:
Nervous tissue, a vital component of the nervous system, oversees bodily functions through neurons and glial cells. It’s found in the brain, spinal cord, and nerves, facilitating rapid transmission of stimuli. Structurally, it comprises neurons with axons for signal transmission, cell bodies containing nuclei and organelles, and dendrites for receiving information. Unidirectional flow of information occurs from dendrites, through the cell body, down the axon. This tissue is integral to both the central and peripheral nervous systems, spanning throughout the body and central organs like the brain and spinal cord. Neurons, specialized cells within this tissue, generate signals via elongated axons in response to stimuli.
