Learning Insights:
I have gained invaluable insights within the health information system side of the course. I now understand the purpose and components of health information systems and how they help make work inside the laboratory more efficient, especially in tracking patients and information. In making the laboratory manual, I learned that operating a laboratory can be challenging. Some strict protocols and standards are to be followed lest it results in irreversible damage and inaccurate test results of patients. Additionally, I have gained insight into health information system implementation and maintenance. Throughout the course, the professor introduced us to AI applications in healthcare, leading me to embrace the future of health information systems. Lastly, I have explored emerging trends and innovations, such as telehealth, mobile health applications, and AI in healthcare, allowing me to embrace the future of health information systems. I plan to apply the skills I picked up in the course in my future endeavours.Bible Verse:

Material management involves organizing, planning, and controlling the use, storage, transportation, and distribution of supplies and materials within the laboratory. It is essential to ensure the safety of workers. It also keeps track of the availability of resources that may hinder any activity, such as emergencies and research. Furthermore, it ensures my safety as a patient by filtering expired products and providing those materials needed for my treatment are available at any time. Therefore it is of utmost importance as it saves time, reduces waste, and increases work output.
