    Building: Roble Hall

Roble Hall is a historic building located on the campus of Silliman University in Dumaguete City, Philippines. It is one of the university’s most iconic structures and has played a significant role in the institution’s history.

Roble Hall was constructed during the presidency of Dr. David Sutherland Hibbard, an American missionary who played a pivotal role in the development of Silliman University. The building was named after Dr. Hibbard’s wife, Laura May Roble Hibbard. It was initially designed to serve as a women’s dormitory, providing accommodation for female students attending the university.

Roble Hall stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of Silliman University and its dedication to providing quality education and fostering a vibrant campus community. It continues to be an integral part of university life, serving as both a residence for students and a symbol of the institution’s heritage.
