Good day, everyone!! Attached below is a picture of my Activity 8 (Reproductive Tissues). This also includes a brief description:Umbilical cord: The umbilical cord is a thick, rope-like structure that connects a developing baby to its mother during pregnancy. It carries nutrients and oxygen from the mother to the baby and takes waste away. (Mayo Clinic, 2023)
Human epididymis: The epididymis is a coiled tube located on the back of each testicle in men. It stores sperm cells and helps them mature after they are produced by the testicles. (National Institutes of Health, n.d.)
Epididymis Human: The epididymis is a long, thin tube with many loops and folds. This allows for a large surface area for sperm to mature. The lining of the epididymis also absorbs fluids and helps sperm become more motile (Mayo Clinic, 2021)
Human prostate: The prostate is a small, gland-shaped organ in the male reproductive system that sits below the bladder. It produces a fluid that nourishes and protects sperm cells. (National Cancer Institute, 2023)
