  • According to Green Peace Organization, The Commission on Human Rights of the Philippines is currently investigating into the responsibility of 47 corporations for human rights impacts which resulted from climate change. Numerous statements and evidence are now put on record, and the public will be informed why our country is currently facing wildfires, intense heat waves, floods, droughts, and storms. But most importantly, the public will be aware of the corporations who are responsible for these.

In light of the recent events, we know that the Philippines is in the front lines of an emerging climate emergency. If we will not take action, the impacts we’re currently experiencing such as typhoons and intense flooding are expected to get worse. These corporations need to be held accountable for contributing to climate change and environmental degradation. Hence, Advocates against Degradation of our Environment Squad (A.D.E.S) is one with the movement of demanding climate justice now.
