Ever since I first learned about cells, the first thing that comes to mind is life. Cells are the foundation of life. They are complex structures, with the plasma membrane enclosing organelles in the cytoplasm and, in eukaryotic cells, a nucleus. However, some cells, like prokaryotes, don’t have organelles or a nucleus.Like humans, animals, and plants, cells need energy to live and maintain their functions; otherwise, problems can arise. My image depicts a cell compared to a pot, plant, and soil. The plant represents the ongoing division of a cell, which influences the growth of the small plant in the future. The pot symbolizes the plasma membrane; it contains the plant while contributing to its essential needs, such as air exchange and nutrients. Just like the plasma membrane of a cell, the pot maintains the environment inside and regulates what enters and exits.
Lastly, the soil represents the cytoplasm. Just as soil provides nutrients, the cytoplasm provides essential substances for the cell and its main components, the organelles.
Cells under a microscope🔬 are breathtaking. It enables us to see how cell gives radiance to each matter’s existence. While cells may not be visible to the naked eye, we must be aware that we are all made up of cells. Imagine having millions of these little living components in you. Would you believe that they are always at work? To keep their work functional, we must all remember to take care of them!!
