I find it heartwarming how the students, staff, alumni and the organizations of Silliman gather to celebrate the occasion. This was when I was able to see how beautiful Silliman was. The different events taking place in this occasion are truly diverse. Each event has their own purpose and value. For instance, Miss Silliman and Mr. Hibalag. Both an avenue for self-expression and empowerment for the young women and men. Moreover, each of the events that take place are represented by the different student organizations of Silliman University. Apart from that, I love how the Ravello field is filled with different and unique booths. I love how there are different activities we can engage to through the different booths. I also love the various merchandise and food stalls around the campus. Unfortunately, the occasion didn’t go how it usually goes for this school year. I hope that even with the circumstance we are in now, the very essence of the occasion would still be appreciated. I hope that we could still gather and celebrate the occasion. In light to that, I would like to share a video of the most recent Founder's Day celebration.
