Silliman preserves the Filipino cultures and traditions in various ways. One of which is through art such as dance. The Silliman University Dance Troupe is a group of folk dancers whose aim is to remind everyone how creative our traditional dances are and make them appreciate our own style. Being one of the members of the group, I am sharing this video here hoping to remind you that before our modern hip-hop dances, we had tinklings, sayaw sa bangko, and other fiesta dances.
