Iuxta Mare 5 years, 7 months ago This video shows women empowerment. Miss Silliman is one of the oldest beauty pageants across Asia and is one of the events Sillimanians are looking forward too during founder’s week. I chose this video because it represents women inside the university: bold, strong and fierce. The Miss Silliman platform also gives women the confidence, ability and opportunity to implement and fight for their advocacies without having to worry about their race, ethnicity or religion. This is evidence that Silliman University molds strong, independent and bright women who are ready to lead and serve with a heart.
