SILLIMAN BUILDINGS!17. The Claire Isabel McGill-Luce Auditorium: Constructed on October 6, 1974, this 761-seat auditorium, known as Silliman’s Cultural Center, was designed by Augusto Ang Barcelona and made possible through a generous donation from the Henry Luce Foundation.
18. Silliman University Library: Established in 1978, the Silliman University Library was founded through the generous contribution from the people of the United States of America via USAID. In 2011, it earned the distinction of being an Outstanding Library by PAARL and was among Asia’s largest libraries, boasting over 250,000 books, an On-Line Public Access Catalogue (OPAC), and a Cyber Library.
19. Silliman Gym: Silliman Gym was built using disassembled parts of an airplane hangar from Samar. Adjacent to it are the Shaw Memorial Pool and the Ravello field.
20. Chapel of Evangel: Established in 1957, the Chapel of Evangel became the spiritual home of the Silliman Bible School.
