As has been said, “Prevention is better than cure”, and we should bear this in mind while working in the laboratories. Laboratories are at the forefront of disease detection since biological agents are being handled most commonly in it. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is invented by taking into account the dangers associated while working. PPE is an indispensable tool against any risk that may occur in the workplace. As future Medical Technologists, we must know what to and what not to wear in the laboratory to prevent any dangers and suffer the consequences it’ll bring.
