MT 30 (LEC) – CC 12 months ago The Human tissue is a collection of similar cells that all do the same thing. There are four primary types: epithelial, connective, muscle, and nervous tissue. Epithelial tissue protects and covers surfaces. Connective tissue connects and holds body parts together. Muscle tissue assists with movement, and nervous tissue transmits messages throughout the body. All of these tissues work together to keep the body functioning normally.
