Nervous Tissue is responsible for the coordination and control of much of our body’s activities. It stimulates contraction of muscle, makes you aware of the environment, and has a major role in the function of our emotions, memory, and reasoning. The cells in nervous tissue need to communicate with each other through electrical nerve impulses in order to do all these functions.
