The video showed me that primary health care is more common than I thought it was. But what got me in this video is the fact that with primary care, medical follow up is often but here in our place, I have not seen it. Primary Health Care, instead, in our area is more common for when you need a midwife, when you need vaccines for like rabies, polio, etc, and for even basic check up. What makes Primary Health Care amazing, in my opinion, is how it allows people to directly have access to the health system when they get sick or need medical intervention. The only problem is that for those in rural areas, primary healthcare is the only thing they get direct access to when they actually need to be sent to medical centers. Nonetheless, these primary healthcare facilities are the ones to create a link between the patient and the hospital. Primary health care is indeed all throughout our life and without it, many of us would not even have the chance to survive.
