“Verbum Caro Factum Est” – “The Word Became Flesh”
The phrase comes from John 1:14 and is included throughout the Church’s prayer.

When God entered time and space through Jesus, it wasn’t just to perform a task and then disappear; to become close only to become distant again. Instead, Christ came to establish His kingdom— the kingdom of His ever-present Love and Divine reign. The kingdom of Emmanuel—God with us.

The same Love and Grace He poured out from His crucified body are available to us today through His Body, the Church, empowered by His Holy Spirit. Christ reaches us most especially through the Eucharist, the other Sacraments, Prayer, and our participation in the community of believers, which extends His personal presence.
