The integumentary system is comprised of the skin and its appendages, subcutaneous tissue, deep fascia, mucocutaneous junctions, and the breasts, to name a few components of the body. These components, as well as some clinical observations concerning them and the integumentary system as a whole, will be discussed in length in this article.
