GE 10 DD Oct.10 Attendance: Pic w/ Building!
Welcome to Hibbard Hall, a tribute to Silliman University’s beginnings. Named after its first president, Dr. David S. Hibbard, and his wife, Laura C. Hibbard, the building’s story begins with Dr. Paul Doltz’s “Greater Silliman Fund” project in the 1930s.
In 1932, the first floor took shape, and over the next nine years, students, faculty, and staff collaborated to complete the second floor, now home to the Anthropology Museum. This journey of dedication and community spirit shaped Hibbard Hall’s history.
